Student Union Council is the chief representative body for students in UCC. All UCC students are welcome to attend.
SU Council is where the serious issues affecting the student body are discussed and solutions developed and voted upon. Some issues in recent times have been related to student printing, the library and computer facilities and resources, as well as things like the structure of the academic year and student access to non-traditional degree modules. Council takes place once every month during the academic year.
If you would like to put an item on the agenda, email it to education at least four days before the meeting takes place. It is where you can question the SU Executive and raise problems and propose solutions. They can be great fun with everyone having an equal say in how they think things should be run.
Council is chaired by Cat O'Driscoll, you can contact her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
